Late Pope John Paul II to Get Sainthood, Vatican Says
Vatican, Friday July 5, 2013 -- The late Pope John Paul II is
to be declared saint by the Roman Catholic Church, the Vatican
announces, and Pope Francis has already signed the decree.
John Paul (born Karol Józef Wojtyła (Polish); 18 May 1920 – 2 April 2005) was the head of the Catholic Church from 16 October 1978 to his death in 2005. He was the second-longest serving Pope in history and the first non-Italian since 1523.

Actress, Liz Da Silva Converts To Islam Because Of Baby

Nollywood actress, Liz Da Silva who gave birth some weeks back has converted to Islam.
The Togo-born actress who converted from Christianity to Islam after her childbirth did her Islamic name change (Wonka Ceremony) after which she changed her name to Aishat Olaoye.
The actress said she preferred to be called Aishat instead of her former Christian name.

PHOTO: Nigerian Customs Officers Murder 30-Year-Old Car Dealer
The Lagos State Police Command has commenced investigations into the murder of a 30-year-old car dealer, Uririnke Onojorhoevwo, who was allegedly killed by officials of the Nigerian Customs Service in Iyana Ipaja area of the state.
According to the police, the Delta State indigene was shot to death on June 16, 2013, after being pursued by customs men attached to the Federal Operation Unit.
