Iyanya, Ice Prince, Omawumi, O.C Ukeje Nominated for The Future Awards

The Central Working Committee (CWC) has unveiled this year’s nominees for the 2013 edition of The Future Awards. Now in its eighth season, this year’s awards fields 75 ‘nominees in a list comprising of 15 categories, fielding five nominees each.
The likes of Pop singers Iyanya, Omawumi, top rapper Ice Prince, actor O.C Ukeje and UK based urban gospel singer-songwriter El Mafrex will be slugging it out in this year’s ‘Entertainment Talent’ category.

A 12-year-old girl has given birth to a baby that was allegedly fathered by a 74-year-old.

The pensioner from a neighbouring village in Qiyang, Hunan province, China has been arrested by police for the crime after DNA evidence reportedly revealed he was the father of the baby girl.
But the child has denied she was raped by the man.

Her family believe that the pensioner was forced to confess as part of a police cover-up.

Michigan, U.S. -- 21-year-old Julia Merfeld was caught on tape hiring an undercover Michigan police officer posing as a hitman to kill her 27-year-old husband.
