Man Drowns New-Born Daughter, Says "I Wanted a Son not a Daughter"

A man in Pakistan who confessed to drowning his one-and-a-half year old daughter says he now regrets his actions. His family says it was because he wanted a son, but it highlights the grave issue, across South Asia, of female infanticide.

The BBC's reporter met the family in Lahore. We meet 28-year-old Umar Zaib as he waits, shackled, outside court.

"It was a mistake," he tells me. "I made a big mistake. I don't know what was going through my mind when I did it."

Colombia arrests woman with 'Fake Pregnancy bump' containing Cocaine (PHOTOS)

A Canadian national has been arrested in Colombia after trying to board a flight to Toronto with a phony pregnant belly stuffed with cocaine, police say.

The tourist caught the attention of a policewoman at Bogota's International Airport who allegedly asked her how far along she was.
She reacted aggressively, which aroused the suspicion of officials who went on to search her.
This year, nearly 150 people were caught with drugs at Bogota's airport.
About a third of them were foreign nationals, according to the Colombian authorities

50 Cent Shows off New Girlfriend At ‘The Family’ Movie Premiere (PHOTOS)

Although 50 Cent may have more drama than a little bit with his baby’s mama and former girlfriend Daphne Joy, it looks as though he’s moved on to another model chick.
This week, he was spotted having a date night with exotic dancer “Tatted Up Holly,” while attending the premiere of “The Family” at New York’s Lincoln Center AMC.  The alleged couple joined Amar’e Stoudemire and his wife Alexis on the red carpet for a few flicks, as well as the likes of Robert Dinero.
Earlier this year, 50 revealed that he met “Holly” through mutual friends and recruited her to host his birthday
bash and fight night event in Connecticut.  He also expressed in an interview, that he had heard her name around from various people, so at the time he hoped to put her on in the same way he’s put Buffy The Body, Rosa Acosta and Angel Lola Luv in their first music videos.
Their business relationship since his birthday bash may have turned personal since Holly tweeting a day before the premiere:
