Female banker allegedly steals 24million Naira from customers account

A female staff of an old generation bank in Ondo State, southwest Nigeria, Alabi Joy Omotayo, 26, has been arrested by the police at Onikan division, Ikoyi, Lagos for allegedly withdrawing N24 million from the bank’s customers’ accounts.

After investigation by Police Corporal Orifa Olugbenga and his team, the suspect was arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos on a five-count charge of felony to wit, stealing.

The police alleged in charge No C/34/2013 that the accused was arrested following a complaint by the management of the bank’s headquarters in Lagos that the accused, a customer service care officer at their Ondo branch office, had stolen N24 million.

Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State has confirmed reports that he is keeping his wife incarcerated, but that he is doing so in her interest.
According to Saharareporters, Gov Chime said:

“I wanted the best for her and that’s why I pleaded with the doctors to have her treated at home.
That’s also why I allowed her access to her telephone and laptop which unfortunately led to the stage where I’m now being falsely accused of imprisoning or detaining my own wife.”
With his wife, Clara Chime by his side at a press conference in Enugu, Gov Chime disclosed that the battle concerning his wife’s health situation commenced even before his inauguration in 2011.
“It was so bad at a time that she had to be taken out of here (Governor’s Lodge) for treatment.
When she stabilized, I pleaded with her doctors if she could be brought back here to be receiving her treatment at home and they graciously accepted.
There was a time she was confined indoors and that was strictly on her doctors’ advice. She’s here and she
can confirm or deny it.

Man Stabs His Friend To Death For Sleeping With His Wife

 

A middle-aged man identified as Wasiu Yusuf has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly stabbing his bosom friend, Adeolu Olatoye,  to death for having clandestine relationship with his wife.
It was gathered that the incident which occurred at Oke-Efon area of  Abeokuta, Saturday  night,  was reportedly  carried out by the  suspect and one  accomplice identified as Mukaila, said to be on the run as at the time of this report.
It was further gathered that the suspect lost his temperament when he reportedly caught  his 32 -year-old  friend  with his wife on the day of the incident on his matrimonial bed.
The suspect, according to the findings, laid siege for the victim who reportedly came  to his house, and in the ensuing scuffle,the victim erroneously stabbed himself.
But another version of the story had it that, the victim had gone to his friend’s house to drop an invitation card of his mother’s 80th birthday scheduled  for Saturday when the friend attacked him with bottles.

Davido, His Bodyguard Get Involved In A Club Fight, Several Injured, Club Property Damaged!

Davido was, last weekend, involved in a club fight that allegedly left about 7 people injured, with property damaged.

According to an eye witness, her tweets continue after the cut, Davido and his bodyguards had gone to party at Nu Grotto night club, Victoria Island, after performing at the #Colourfulworldofmore concert held at Eko Hotel and Suites.

They had bought 4 Necter Rose, 3 Hennessy VSOP. About 2 bouncers were in charge of his security. They all sat down while Davido was standing on the sofa, ‘turning up’ with friends.

Later on, the club DJ, Dj JD noticed Davido's ATM card had fallen off.

JD picked it up and tried handing it back to the Davido but he was harassed by Davido's bouncers.

Not finding it funny, JD reportedly lashed back at the bouncers who now got angry and replied JD with some hot slaps!

Davido bouncers slapped JD seriously, that he, being a Lagos street boy, retaliated.

14-Yr-Old Daughter Secretly Films Father On Webcam During Sexual Assault

A man accused of sexually assaulting his own daughter for a period of many months has been arrested in the southern French town of Florensac after the 14-year-old girl had the presence of mind to secretly film an attack using a webcam.

The girl, aged 14, used a webcam on her computer to film the abuse, in Florensac, a town in the southern Hérault department. The footage is now a key piece of evidence in the case.

Details of the abuse were revealed through the girl’s school counselor at the beginning of September.
But it was not until after the abuse was captured on camera that police had enough evidence to arrest the father.
As a result, the defendant was questioned last Tuesday and placed in detention in Béziers prison.
"My client acknowledges the facts," the suspect's lawyer Mathieu Montfort was quoted as saying.
