Just like On Air Personality, Toke Makinwa who said she get paid to attend events, sources in the know said the former lovers get big cheques to attend events together as a couple.
Few years back, Genevieve and Dbanj dated but the romance later collapsed over irreconcilable differences thus, they have resorted to getting paid a ‘couple appearance fee’ for any event they attend.

My dear Iyabo Obasanjo,
First off, it is still unclear whether or not you wrote that letter to your dad – ex-President Olusegun Obansanjo – circulating in the media. Your failure to come forward (through a neutral source) to affirm or refute the letter and its contents have forced many to believe that you indeed penned that piece.

Personally, I’ve read the letter, and just can’t hide my disappointment. I’m particularly disappointed because everyone that has read it, and will ever read it must have had issues with their own dads at some point in their lives. Some even have more disastrous relationships with their fathers or parents. Some don’t even know their parents and earnestly pray to have somebody to call father, no matter how irresponsible he may be. I don’t know if you have ever been to the orphanages. Please do…You will understand.

To tell you the truth, throwing mud at your father’s white garment in the village square is the least effective way of redressing such complex family squabbles. What you have done is sacrilegious...

It shows bad upbringing and want of character. It puts a big question mark on the academic background and intellectual quality of the author. By all known cultural, social and global standards, your open letter and its contents are very inappropriate.

A woman has been reportedly sexually assaulted by her 28-year-old Pastor who was also arrested for theft.
The suspect, Chibuike Israel appeared before a Lagos court yesterday to face charges unlawful carnal knowledge and stealing.
The accused reportedly unlawfully had sex with his victim (name withheld), when she was nine months pregnant for another man.
He added that the accused also unlawfully obtained N250 from her under false pretence.
Mr. Israel, however pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The case was adjourned to February 10, 2014.

The Channel O Africa Music Video Awards went down about two weeks ago.
Media personality, Denrele Edun has revealed that the dress he wore to the event belonged to his late friend, Goldie Harvey.
While presenting the award for 'Most Gifted Afropop video' Denrele said:
"I'm gladly wearing my late friend's dress....Yes, Goldie's sheer number!! She was supposed to rock it to the AMVCAs this year but never got the chance! An hour before she passed on, she made me try on the outfit (funny, but we had the same body proportions) and told me, "You will never age, you sexy sl**!". Few minutes and we had to rush her to the hospital! 10months later and I managed to make d outfit work; (I discovered the outfit in my box#Mystery)!
