Nollywood actress Oge Okoye is one happy woman at the moment.
The actress was conferred a chieftain  in her hometown in Enugu.
Okoye shared photos from the ceremony with her fans on Instagram  with the caption: “An Honorary Chieftaincy Title (Igolo Nwanyi 1 Of Amoli) in Awgu L.G.A.Enugu State. God you’re awesome#you alone God do I thank for all this recognitions.Kisses Ebubedike/Jehovah,the Lion of Judah.”

‘My pastor husband sleeps with my friends’ – Wife drags hubby to court

A 45-year-old housewife, Iyabo Taiwo has begged the court to dissolve her 6-year-old marriage to a pastor on the grounds of infidelity.
Mrs. Taiwo told the Igando Customary Court in Lagos State that her husband Olusoji Taiwo had illicit affairs with two of her friends.
Pastor Taiwo had  filed for divorce which Mrs. Taiwo was responding to.
Nigertian Tribune reports:
“My husband is a womaniser; he slept with two of my friends,’’ Iyabo told the court, adding that Olusoji had many concubines.
“Whenever I confronted him on his escapades with my friends, he  would tell  me to do my worst,” she said.
The mother of one said she was fed up with the marriage.
Fifty-six-year-old Olusoji  had claimed in the divorce suit that his wife was threatening

Scientists discover wonder drug to block HIV/AIDS

Research led by scientists at the Gladstone Institutes, San Fransisco, United States has identified the precise chain of molecular events in the human body that drives the death of most of the immune system’s CD4 T cells as an HIV infection leads to AIDS. Further, they have identified an existing anti-inflammatory drug that in laboratory tests blocks the death of these cells — and now are planning a Phase 2 clinical trial to determine if this drug or a similar drug can prevent HIV-infected people from developing AIDS and related conditions.
Two separate journal articles, published simultaneously in Nature and Science, detail the research from the laboratory of Warner C. Greene, MD, PhD, who directs virology and immunology research at Gladstone, an independent biomedical-research non-profit. His laboratory’s science paper reveals how, during an HIV infection, a protein known as IFI16
