Beautiful Nollywood actress Ufuoma Mcdermott yesterday 10th April, 2014 celebrated her fourth marriage anniversary to her husband Mr McDermott.

Nollywood Mourns The Death Of An Actress (PICTURED)

The death of Nollywood actress, Chrisphina Adinusor has thrown the movie industry into mourning.

According to report, Chrisphina Adinusor a member of the Rivers State Chapter of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) died of cardiac arrest at about 2am on March 28th 2014.
This is coming just few months after the movie industry lost a popular Nollywood actress, Ijeoma Perpetual

Gangsters rape, kill 18 year old sex-worker in Lagos (PHOTO)

 

Police have apprehended two gangsters for allegedly raping and killing an 18-year-old commercial sex worker, Oluwatosin Ami.The suspects, John-Paul Chukwuebuka, 19; and Ebuka Chimudi, 22; belonged to a gang which specialised in luring young ladies to hotels with the aim of dispossessing them of their belongings and raping them.

According to police authorities, on April 10, 2013, two members of the gang posed as customers and visited the Happy Day Hotel, Orile.Oluwatosin was approached by the suspects and she took them into her room at the hotel which she secured at the cost of N3, 500 per day.The suspects were said to have overpowered Oluwatosin and stuffed a cloth in her mouth to prevent her from screaming.

Former beauty queen and actress Regina Askia Williams was in Nigeria last week after she was invited by her State Governor as part of the Diaspora Unity team 2014. Governor Akpabio had invited the team to attend a memorial service in honor of the State's slain heroes during the civil war, as well as tour and appraise the transformation going on in Akwa Ibom State.

Regina's first port of call was her family home. See more pics below. She has since returned to the States.

Hundreds missing after South Korean ship sinks (SEE PHOTOS)

A North Korean ship carrying 459, including 325 students, 15 teachers, and 30 crew members has sank causing the death of 2 and about 293  people declared missing.This is because when one side of the ship began to submerge into the sea, many jumped into the freezing waters below
Earlier,South Korean authorities said 386 passengers had been rescued and that 104 remain unaccounted for. But they now reduced the number to 164 because of double counting..

South Korean coast guard fear the number of casualties could rise as they continue to drag passengers out of the water.
The ferry was sailing to the southern island of Jeju when it sent a distress call Wednesday morning after it began leaning to one side..The government said about 95 percent of the ship was submerged.

ABUJA BOMB BLAST: Security Forces Recover Body Of Nyanya Bus Park Bomber – Source (SEE PHOTO)

The Counter-Terrorism Unit (CTU) of the Nigerian security forces may have identified and recovered the body of the suspected bomber who set-off the bomb at the Nyanya bus park in Abuja, This Day reports.

The explosion hit the busy commuter bus station around 6.30am on April 14, Monday, killing at least 71 people and injuring 124, Nigeria Police Force has confirmed.
This Day cites a security source as saying that the slightly charred body of the bomber was identified and recovered yesterday.
CTU also discovered charms and amulets strapped to the body. They might have have been used for self-protection.
Reportedly, the charms and amulets are typical of the type used by members of the terrorist group Boko Haram.
According to the source, certain leads including a mobile phone were also recovered from the man's body.

The miraculous survival of a 10-month baby, Goodness in the Abuja bomb blasts that occurred yesterday left many speechless.

The mother of the miracle baby, it was gathered was one of the petty traders at the Nyanya bus park who was however among those killed in the blasts, which claimed 71 lives and left 124 injured.
It was learnt that the mother of Goodness was holding the baby at the time of the incident.
