We Are Not Ashamed to be Called the Church of the Rich – Bishop Oyedepo

Founder, Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, in a new, very revealing interview with Punch talked about the numerous stories we've heard about his church and how most of them are lies plus how he reacts to them.
Excerpts:
  • Why are there so many rich people in Winners?
Because they know better than their contemporaries. If you don’t know what you have, you won’t know if you are deprived of it. The Bible is an open chequebook, it is by revelation we access what belongs to us; by faith we take delivery of it. Someone had access to our empowerment programme and she is a pepper seller, while others sell one basket a day, she sells six, seven. I learnt she had become the envy of all the pepper sellers in her area. Such person has an understanding that whatever
she does, she prospers and she knows that when she pays her tithe, she experiences open heavens. But in case people don’t know, they perish for lack of knowledge, and in case they think when you

PHOTOS: This Lady was still a Virgin at 51, Cos Her Husbands Refused to Have $ex with Her!

Frustration: Maria-Louise had two sexless marriages

57 year old Maria, pictured above, was still a virgin at 51 despite being married twice cos she got married to men who refused to make love to her.
Maria told MailOnline:
My first marriage lasted from the age of 18 until I was in my mid-20s. My relationship with my second husband, Carol, began when I was 25, we wedded when I was 38 and remained married for 13 years.
So, yes, I was still a virgin at the grand old age of 51 - the prime years of my life spent without ever knowing the intimacy and wonder of becoming one with a man.
So how did this come to be? Maria continues:
When I look back now, I wonder if my mother's dysfunctional attitude to intimacy skewed my understanding of relationships. As an adolescent she told me sex was to be endured, not enjoyed.

Flavour is now a music superstar, but a few years before she shot into limelight, it wasn’t rosy.
In an interview with Hip Hop World Magazine, the “Ada Ada” crooner speaks on leaving Enugu for Lagos.

“In Enugu at that time, I was coming out big, and Enugu is a small city where everyone knows each other. So everyone knew the guy Flavour, and it was so nice and cozy, but the money was not coming. It was all about the girls because there are many universities here in Enugu so there were many babes (laughs) and wherever you went, you would see them.
And they liked me so much so I was feeling myself, feeling what I was doing. I felt that with the love I got from ladies here I could do anything – go to any club. Things were just so easy for me and I began to feel like a star, but I noticed that I wasn’t making

Death Row Inmate, Rev King Is In Prison But See What's Happening In His Church

Seven years after the General Overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly, Lagos, Rev Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, aka Reverend King, was convicted for murder and attempted murder, Folashade Adebayo attended a service in the church to see how things are going.

Last Sunday was another anniversary celebration of the Christian Praying Assembly, Isolo, Lagos. But as at 9am when Punch correspondent got there, the imposing three black gates of the church were still shut. If not for a number of cars parked opposite the church and a middle-aged man who stood by one of the imposing gates, praying earnestly, one would have concluded that the church, founded by the convicted Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, also known as Rev. King, was on a recess.
Rev. King was convicted and sentenced to death for murder and attempted murder in 2007 by a Lagos High Court. He was said to have doused six members of his church, including one Uzoh, with petrol for acts of fornication. Uzoh died on August 2, 2006. Last year, the Court of Appeal, Lagos, upheld the judgement.

Read below....
"My name is Deborah Peter and I am the sole survivor of a Boko Haram attack on my household. On December 22, 2011 at 7 pm, my brother and I were at home when we started hearing some guns shooting. My brother called my dad and told him not to come home because some people were shooting guns. But my dad said he should not worry because it was not the first time he had come home when people were fighting. When my dad came home, he said that he was going to take a shower because he was hot. At 7:30 pm, three men knocked on the door. My brother answered the door because he recognized one of the men as a Muslim in our community.
The men asked where my dad was and I told them that he was in the shower. The men
