 A 5-month search has found nothing and all passengers of MH370 are believed dead. So, how was money withdrawn from bank accounts of four of them? Malaysian police believe they have the answer. 

It has been more than five months since Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 mysteriously disappeared.

All 239 people onboard are believed to be dead, somewhere on the bottom of the southern Indian Ocean. A massive search has thus far found nothing.

Ebola: First Nigerian Patient Discharged from Hospital, Declared Fit

The Nigerian Minister of Health Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu announced the first Nigerian Ebola patient declared fit and has been discharged from hospital.

Chukwu told reporters on Saturday that the patient whose identity is being withheld, was asked to go home after all the necessary medical examinations were carried out.

Ebola: 2 Die in Makurdi after Drinking & Bathing With Salt Solution

 

To prevent being infected with the deadly Ebola virus, two people in Makurdi, Benue who believed salt could help prevent contracting the virus have been confirmed dead.

The Sun reports that they drank and bathed with salt solution.

Dr Joseph Kumba, Director, Public Health in the Ministry of Health and Human Services confirmed the report.

“We got the report at a meeting today (Wednesday 13th August) that two persons died at Ushakaa clinic as a result of drinking and bathing with hot salted water.” he said.

EBOLA: Nigeria Approves use of Experimental “Zmapp” Drug

Abuja (NAN) –  The National Health Research Ethics Committee, Nigeria, has approved the use of an experimental Ebola drug, Zmapp, for treatment of patients infected with the virus.

The committee, which composed research scientists, is a national body under the Federal Ministry of Health.

The endorsement is contained in a statement issued to newsmen by Prof. Clement Adebamowo, Chairman of the committee on Wednesday in Abuja.

The decision by the committee is coming on the heels of Tuesday’s approval by the World Health Organisation (WHO) on the use of Zmapp for treatment of Ebola patients.
