Thanks to the support of Nigerians and the Government of Lagos and Rivers States, the producer who has been sick with a renal failure has finally left for the Asian country where he is expected to undergo a kidney transplant.
Expressing his gratitude at the airport, OJB told NET correspondents, "I’m not sure how long this will take but I’m so grateful for the love that Nigerians have shown me. I trust in God that all will be well."
OJB and wife were escorted to the airport by their son, daughter and a few family and friends (see the photo above).
According to NET, OJB may be spending up to three months in India for the surgery.
The couple departed Lagos via a 10-hour Emirate Airline flight scheduled for 2:30PM departure time.
