Are you ready for the 2015 general elections? The commander-in-chief is giving us all some insight.
On Thursday evening, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan
assured Nigerians that the 2015 general elections would be transparent,
and peaceful despite the security issues presently facing the country.
He made the statement when senators,
ministers, former government officials and diplomatic corps, visited him
at the Presidential Villa, Abuja to break the Ramadan fast.
“I know that one thing that is dear to your hearts is what the elections in this country will look like next year.
But let me use this unique opportunity
to reassure you and I am conveying this to my brothers, your heads of
government, that our elections next year will be free and fair. It will
be peaceful in nature that will even surprise the whole world.” he said.
Jonathan is yet to declare his interest
in running for Presidency, but from this statement, it can be assumed he
will be running again.
