A few days ago Rihanna unveiled her “Rogue Man” campaign via her Twitter page (see below), and yesterday she unveiled another anticipated campaign for her 2nd Viva Glam MAC collaboration.

Rocking a green wig and a sexy matching green dress, Rihanna is wearing the frosted metallic mauve lipstick from the collaboration with a perfect mauve inspired makeup look.

This collaboration comes with a lipstick and lipglass; the lipstick for Viva Glam Rihanna II will come in a warm mauve with silver frost, while the lipglass will be a cool mauve with red frost.

Priced at $16 and $15 each, the proceeds from “the selling price of Viva Glam lipstick and lipglass goes toward helping women, men and children living with and affectd by HIV/AIDS.”

Thelma Idahosa, a 29-year-old Nigerian mother of 2, who used six cloned cards to pay for cosmetic surgery, had a lucky day in court.

The graduate from Bromley, South East London, spent £8,500 on a number of cosmetic procedures at Harley Street Clinics and even requested for a refund when she complained that not enough fat had been removed during a liposuction.
Thelma had surgeries on her thighs, stomach, arms, love handles, as well as skin-tightening procedures using stolen credit card details.

The commercial sex business is largely frowned upon in Nigeria but one woman seeks to change that.  48-year-old Patoo Abraham has led protests in Lagos to seek a better lot for Nigeria’s prostitutes.  Abraham is seeking to ensure that prostitution is legalized in Nigeria and that sex workers be protected and respected.

The mother-of-two, who heads the Nigerian chapter of African Sex Workers Alliance (ASWA) and the Women of Power Initiative (WOPI) , led protests with the demonstrators wearing T-shirts screaming “Sex work is work, we need our rights.”

Majek in a chat on Channels TV’s Rubbin’ Minds said that he had never taken drugs all his life and what was responsible for his haggard looks and stagnant career was spiritual attack by witches and what he described as home trouble.
He said: “I never used drugs. I have home trouble. When people see your star they begin to get jealous and they want to kill it. That was what hap­pened to me.”
In the interview, ‘The Rainmaker’ Majek also revealed that he has finally relocated to Nigeria and was working on a new album.

Gunmen Abduct Bayelsa Speaker’s Younger Brother

Latest news coming out of Bayelsa state indicate that unknown gunmen had kidnapped the younger brother of Bayelsa State House of Assembly Speaker, Iniokpoemi Benson.
According to Leadership, the speaker’s brother was abducted as early as 3am on Monday, 4 August, 2014 in Korokorosei community of Southern Ijaw local government area in Bayelsa.
As at the time of compiling this report, details of the abduction are still being expected.
Meanwhile, this latest kidnap brings to three the number of high profile kidnaps in Bayelsa in the last two weeks.

367 Killed in China Earthquake

A magnitude 6.1 earthquake which occurred in the Yunnan province of South-West China on Sunday, has left at least 367 people dead and 1,300 people injured.

Rescue operations are currently in progress, BBC reports.
