Omoni Oboli responds to critics who question her directorial ability

Actress Omoni Oboli recently produced and directed her first movie 'Being Mrs Elliott' and some people took her up and questioned her credentials and ability to direct a movie. Omoni Oboli responded to the critics and below is her response...

"I have the needed education, experience and on the job training. I did not jump into the ocean without a life jacket. I had a life jacket, rescue team and a well-equipped first aid box, which stands for my training at New York Film Academy, my experience as an actress and my on the job training. Two people have been arrested by the police for allegedly burglarizing a church a day after the church gave them charity.

Reports say that on July 30, 26-year-old Jessica Carol Cullbreth and 30-year-old James Eddie Pulley went to the Alliance Bible Fellowship in Boone claiming to be “in dire need of assistance.”

The Nigerian Police have arrested an 18 year old boy, Hounvenou Yavine, a national of the Republic of Benin, for slitting the throat of his boss’ mother, Mrs. Mariam Abiola.

According to Punch, Yavine was brought into Lagos in April 2014 by his elder sister on the request of late Mrs Abiola's daughter. He was then taken to the Ikeja home of the late 78 year old woman to serve as her househlp as well as an assistant at her alcohol distribution shop. A month after his arrival, her home was demolished by the state government, prompting her to temporarily relocate to her daughter's home at the Ijaiye Low Cost Housing Estate, Pen Cinema Lagos where his primary assignment was to take care of her and also clean her daughter's house.
