Two people have been arrested by the police for allegedly burglarizing a church a day after the church gave them charity.
Reports
say that on July 30, 26-year-old Jessica Carol Cullbreth and
30-year-old James Eddie Pulley went to the Alliance Bible Fellowship in
Boone claiming to be “in dire need of assistance.”
The Christian organization gave the suspects food, gasoline for their vehicle, and school supplies for their children.
Investigators
quickly fingered Cuthbert and Pulley as suspects in the crime after the
police had received a report of breaking and entering and larceny at
the church where over $1,000 in power equipment was stolen.
Police say the stolen property was found in the home of the suspects and various pawn shops in Tennessee.
