Pastor Arrested, Charged Over 492 Fake Marriages

A vicar has been charged with presiding over 492 fake marriages in 16 months - equivalent to one a day. 

Reverend Nathan Ntege was arrested in June last year following an investigation into sham marriages by the UK Border Agency.
The 53-year-old is accused of conducting a string of fake marriages at the St Jude's with St Aidan Church in Thornton Heath, south London, between December 2009 and March 2011.

Popular married gospel singer caught red-handed in bed with a girlfriend



POPULAR gospel musician and keyboard wizard Munyaradzi Munodawafa has dumped his wife of five years. The musician was initially allegedly caught red-handed in bed with his girlfriend.
Munodawafa's wife Fellistas Shumba said she found him with the girl in bed in their matrimonial home in Masvingo. According to Shumba, the girl is in her early 20s.
After being confronted, Munodawafa fled with his girlfriend from his lodgings in Runyararo West. Shumba said the two are currently staying in an area known as Sisk.

Residential and public buildings, shops, vehicles, public schools, churches and stadium were badly damaged by the rainstorm.

Mostly affeceted were one of the oldest schools in the town, the Imade College, the General Hospital, Owo Stadium, Methodist High School, St Catherine Anglican Girls Grammar School and Methodist Church.

Electric poles were damaged leading to black out in the town.

A 10-year-old Colombian girl has sparked outrage after becoming one of the world's youngest ever mothers by giving birth to a healthy daughter.
The girl, a member of an indigenous tribe called the Wayuu who are based in the La Guajira Peninsula in the north of the country, was 39 weeks pregnant when she underwent a Caesarean section. Most pregnancies are 38 weeks.
It was the first time the pre-teen, from the town of Manaure, had visited a doctor in connection with her pregnancy.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Wednesday arraigned Olusola Alaba (aka Anthony) Adekunle Okundalaiye, Lateef Tokunbo Alli, Magnus Obe before Justice Lateefa Okunnu of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja, on a four count charge bordering on obtaining money under false pretences and forgery to the tune of N1,490,000.

Federal Government Suspends Importation Of Private Jets

It seems the trend of private jet acquisition by Nigerians might slow down for a while. Is this good or bad news? You tell us.
The Ministry of Aviation has announced a suspension of the importation of private jets into the country pending the renewal of the policy on private jets. This suspension affects private airplanes, helicopters and other lighter aircraft.
The suspension would continue until the formulation of a new policy on importation of private jets and helicopters.
